Store One
Anaheim, California
On October 22, our community gathered at the future home of Store One to commemorate $1.5 million in federal and state funding appropriations, thanks to the offices of U.S. Congressman Lou Correa and California Assemblyman Avelino Valencia. These appropriations bring the overall total raised for Store One to nearly $11.5 million in both public and philanthropic funds, with just over $4 million still needing to be raised for equipment and programming.
The moment was marked with remarks from Congressman Correa, Assemblyman Valencia, and several City of Anaheim officials, including Mayor Ashleigh Aitken, Council Member Natalie Rubalcava, and Director of Housing and Community Development Grace Stepter.
No Store One gathering would be complete without delicious local bites and beverages — thank you to the owners of Anaheim businesses Miss Gee’s Sweets, Owlverick’s Coffee and With Love, From Scratch for sharing their delicious culinary creations with us.
