Our History:
Rooted In Community
Over 40 years ago, the González family opened the first Northgate González Market in Anaheim, California.
The neighborhood market became a gathering place, showcasing the vibrant cultural diversity of the multigenerational working families living in central Anaheim. More than just a grocery store, the Northgate Market helped create and define a community.
Today, the original location of the Northgate González Markets is no longer a grocery store, but the lessons of the González family linger here, ready to be transformed into a next chapter of growth, inspiration, and success. The site will soon become Store One, a hub for culinary entrepreneurship and workforce training.
